Apple No-Bake

This no-bake, four-layer dessert is decadent and simple. Don’t be afraid to make extra to hide for yourself, because there are never leftovers!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham crackers, crumbled fine
  • 6 tbsp butter, melted
  • 8 oz block cream cheese, softened at room temp
  • 1/2 cup and 3 tbsp granulated sugar, divided
  • 2 cups Cool Whip
  • 1 can (21oz) apple pie filling

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter and all but 2 tablespoons of the graham cracker crumble; set the 2 tablespoons aside for the topping.
  2. Spread the crumbs into a 9×9 dish, pushing down to make a flat layer.
  3. In the medium bowl, combine the cream cheese and 1/2 cup of sugar until the sugar is fully incorporated, then fold in the Cool Whip.
  4. Place half of the Cool Whip and cream cheese on top of the graham crackers and spread it out evenly. Add the apple pie filling on top of the previous layer and spread that out evenly as well. Finally, add the other half of the cream cheese and Cool Whip then top with the last of the graham cracker crumbs.
  5. Enjoy immediately or let sit in the refrigerator to allow the flavors to marry overnight.
