Microwave Macaroni and Cheese

No stovetop necessary for this mac and cheese! Make a quick and easy dinner in the microwave. Whatever cheese you prefer mixes with a splash of milk to create a perfect creamy mac and cheese!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup noodles
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 cup milk or non-dairy alternative
  • 1/2 cup cheese of choice

Directions

  1. Combine pasta, water, and salt in a bowl and stir.
  2. Microwave on high for 2 minutes.
  3. Remove and stir. Continue microwaving in 1-2 minute intervals until pasta is tender.
  4. Stir in milk and sprinkle cheese. Microwave another 15-20 seconds to melt the cheese.
  5. Stir until a creamy sauce is formed.
