How do I sign up to volunteer?

All volunteers must be scheduled in advance through our volunteer website. Once you are signed up for an event, you will receive a confirmation email.

Designated parking is available onsite at both locations.

  • Spokane: 1234 E. Front Avenue Spokane, WA 99202. Click here for directions to our Spokane location
  • Tri-Cities: 5825 Burlington Loop Pasco, WA 99301. Click here for directions to our Pasco location

Second Harvest does not provide court-related community service.

  • Anyone 14 and older may volunteer. Volunteers under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or adult chaperone and must stay with their parent/chaperone in the assigned work area(s). Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children under 9-years-old.
  • For some volunteer opportunities, a minimum age requirement may apply. Please see the details in the event descriptions on our events calendar for more information.
  • The Kitchen is located at our Spokane facility. If you are interested in volunteering, dial (509) 534-6678.
  • Volunteer drivers are needed to help deliver and pick-up food drive orders from area businesses, schools and organizations around Spokane. No commercial driver license is required. Dial (509) 252-6252 for more information.
