STREET MUSIC WEEK AND VOICES OF HOPE – JUNE 12

STREET MUSIC WEEK

COVID-19 has changed the way we do things. Doug Clark and his team of volunteers who put on Street Music Week every year haven’t let the pandemic get in the way of raising money for Second Harvest—especially during this time of extraordinary need. With public health concerns in mind, Street Music Week went virtual for the weeklong 18th annual event that wraps up today. Thank you to all the local musicians and other entertainers who have helped make our virtual Street Music Week a success.

There’s still time to participate. To watch Street Music Week performances, or post your own, click here. Spokane’s own rock star, Myles Kennedy, recorded and shared a performance. Also, stay tuned for Peter Rivera, a living legend from the classic rock era who now makes his home in Spokane and is a longtime Street Music Week fan favorite. If you’d like to donate to Street Music Week, click here

VOICES OF HOPE

“We received our family’s first food donation today. It was way beyond anything I ever expected. It was so nice to not receive any judgment from the amazing volunteers. The amount of food… will be thoroughly enjoyed and used. I can’t thank you all enough!” -McKenzie, Kennewick
