Perfect forQuick & easy

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground meat (turkey or beef)
  • 1 lb elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 small onion, small dice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 quarts beef broth
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Heat up a soup pot to medium-high heat and add the ground meat and onion, cooking until the meat has browned and crumble the meat as you go along. Mix in the tomato paste, minced garlic, chili powder, and Worcestershire sauce then cook for two minutes.
  2. Pour the beef broth in and turn heat up to high, once it boils then add the macaroni, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook until the noodles are soft.
  3. Take the pot off the heat and stir in the cheddar cheese. This is a great time to taste a few bites of everything mixed together to see if any additional salt and pepper is needed.
