Paul Bridge has an extensive knowledge of finance that benefits Second Harvest.
As a partner at BDO USA, LLP, an international accounting firm, Bridge has the perfect background for advising the staff and board about financial matters.
Bridge is a member of Rotary and is on the board of directors for Windemere Spokane Marathon. In the past, Bridge was a member of the Greater Spokane Inc. finance committee and served on the board of directors for the Philadelphia Unemployment Commission.

Kevin Rasler, Vice Chair

Kevin Rasler a Washington State University graduate, is president and general manager of Inland Empire Paper Co., where he has worked since 1985.
In addition to his work feeding the hungry by volunteering for Second Harvest's board of directors, Rasler also serves on the board of the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce. He has served on the West Valley School District Board of Director's curriculum advisory committee and has been active in West Valley SCOPE Days, Millwood Better for Business activities and other projects.

As president and CEO of Numerica Credit Union, Carla Altepeter has a wealth of experience managing companies and serving as a board member, chair and vice chair for numerous nonprofits and business associations.
Altepeter, a married mother of four grown children, was previously the president and CEO of CitizensFirst Credit Union in Oshkosh, Wis. While living in Oshkosh, she served on governing boards for Affinity Healthy Systems, the Boys and Girls Club of Oshkosh and the Paine Art Center and Gardens. She served as past chairwoman of the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce and the Oshkosh Economic Development Council.

Mark Bray

As CFO and co-owner of Lydig Construction, Inc., Mark Bray understands the bottom line issues that impact businesses of all types.
Bray, who graduated from the University of Montana, worked for Ernst and Young in Anchorage, Alaska, before going to work for an Alaska contractor. Bray came to work for Lydig Construction in 1994.
Bray has served as treasurer for the Inland Northwest AGC (The Associated General Contractors of America) for eight years and is the current chairman of the board for the Washington/Idaho Montana Carpenter Retirement Trust.
The married father of three has volunteered for many years coaching youth sports, including football, basketball and baseball.

Philip S. DiPofi

Philip DiPofi comes to Second Harvest with an extensive knowledge of banking and the economics of the farming industry. In addition to serving on Second Harvest's board of directors, DiPofi has served as president and CEO of Northwest Farm Credit Services since January 2011.
In addition, DiPofi is the vice chair on the board of directors for Farm Credit Financial Partners, Inc. and is a member of the Farm Credit System's President's Planning Committee. more>>

Mike Dunford is a vice president and partner at Moloney & O'Neill Inc., a longtime Spokane company that specializes in personal and business insurance and employee benefits.
Dunford, a graduate of Eastern Washington University, worked in social services during the mid-1980s as a counselor at Morning Star Boys Ranch. From there, he worked as an administrator with a choice service for the elderly. In the early 1980s, he entered the insurance field and has been with Moloney & O'Neill Inc. since 1984. Craig Goodwin

Presbyterian Church
Craig Goodwin brings his many talents as church leader, accomplished author and advocate for the hungry to the Second Harvest boardroom.
Goodwin, who earned a doctorate in Missional Leadership from Fuller Seminary, has served as the Pastor at Millwood Community Presbyterian Church in West Valley for the past eight years. Goodwin wrote 'Year of Plenty: One Suburban Family, Four Rules, and 365 Days of Homegrown Adventure in Pursuit of Christian Living.'
Goodwin also writes a popular blog www.yearofplenty.org that focuses on food, faith and justice in the rich agricultural region of the Inland Northwest. His work on the intersections of food and faith has been featured on NPR, PBS, Presbyterians Today Magazine and in the The New York Times. Goodwin, who is married and has two daughters, also manages a farmers' market, is a master food preserver and a fire chaplain.

For the past 25 years, McMahon, associate professor of communication arts for Gonzaga University, has taught communications classes. McMahon's specialties range from teaching advanced public speaking to instructing organizational communication. She has taught at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. more>>

Steigerwald, who currently works for Red and Associates, has worked for Empire Health Services, Inland Northwest Health Services, Inland Imaging and Columbia Medical Associates.
She is married yet still finds the time to volunteer for Second Harvest's board of directors while also serving on the board of directors of the Spokane/North Idaho Volunteers of America.

Sprinkle is able to help the organization improve its relationships with the food industry and develop the most efficient way of securing and distributing donations.
Sprinkle, who is well-connected within the food industry, has served as the past chairman of the board for the Washington Food Industry Association.

Kimberly Thielman
Manager - New Sales and Renewals | Asuris Northwest Health
Kimberly Thielman brings her leadership skills as the manager of new sales and renewals for Asuris Northwest Health to the Second Harvest boardroom.
Thielman, who has spent the past 15 years in the health insurance industry, earned a bachelor's and master's degree from Gonzaga University. As the married mother of two, Thielman stays busy while giving back to her community through her volunteer work on the board of directors for both Second Harvest and the Women Helping Women Fund of Spokane. She also currently chairs the Women Helping Women Fund's Luncheon Committee.
Additionally, Thielman gives her time as a member of the Washington Association of Health Underwriters and a volunteer for the American Red Cross and the Holiday Tree of Sharing. |
