Help the Hungry Warehouse Sort Nights
Volunteer at Second Harvest and help to fight hunger and feed hope for hungry neighbors in our community. Join up to 30 community volunteers every Monday and Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Volunteers help sort and box produce, bulk pasta, frozen vegetables or food drive items at the Second Harvest distribution center, located at 1234 E. Front Ave. Volunteers must be 14 and older to participate and must wear closed-toed shoes (no sandals or flip-flops). In addition to individuals and families, these are excellent opportunities for business groups, clubs or other organizations to participate in a team-building exercise while giving back to the community.
