Information Collection and Use
For each visitor to our Web site, our Web server does not automatically recognize information regarding the domain or e-mail address.
The information Second Harvest collects is used to process your donation, including receipting and ongoing communication purposes. Second Harvest will not share your e-mail address or other personal information.
This site does not collect cookies.
In order to use this Web site, visitors and/or members are not required to complete a registration form. In order to donate, users will need to enter contact and payment information.
When making a donation, a user must give certain contact information, but we never sell or give away this information. It is only gathered to contact the user to process donations and receive follow-up communications.
We require information from the user on our donation form. A user must provide contact information (such as name, e-mail and address) and possibly financial information (such as credit card number and expiration date). If we have trouble processing a donation, we use the information to contact the donor. This information also is used for processing donations, providing receipts from Second Harvest in physical or electronic form and follow-up correspondence in physical or electronic form.
We always use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our site. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.
Conflict Resolution: We are committed to resolving disputes within one week. If problems arise, users may contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax.
